Helping business owners reduce the time wasted on administration

At EchoDek we help business owners reduce the time wasted (by you or your team) on administration.

We look at what you do, write it down, refine it and automate it. So the right things happen at the right time and your business moves forwards automatically.

How can we help?

  • We've helped a company move their main product online, allowing them to expand worldwide.
  • We helped another company organise their data so costly errors in their catalogues and websites have become a thing of the past.
  • We transferred a company's system off paper and onto their phones, so their technicians can plan their day and their reports (including the customer signature) are filed and delivered immediately.

In other words, we get people organised and save them time and money.

Everything starts with a coffee and a chat. Often, it’s apparent that we’re not a good fit together. That’s fine, it happens. Finding the right people to work alongside your business is a tricky thing and you want to choose well. So do we.

But if we both think we can work together, we produce an Outline Proposal, giving you a rough idea of the next steps.  If that sounds good, we get together for an Action Plan Meeting. This is a paid engagement where we spend some time talking with you and your staff and get a true understanding of how your business works, where the bottlenecks are and what we can do to improve things.

Of course, a plan is no use on its own.

But the plan we create is detailed enough that you can take it to your favourite technologist and they can implement it for you.

Or if you prefer, we can get our team of experts to implement the plan. They’re all amazing, really friendly, and have a great track record.

But who are you?

I’m Baz – my real name is Rahoul Baruah, but I’ve been known as Baz since I was 8. I have over 20 years experience as a software developer, over 10 years experience of running my own business and I’m proud to say that I’ve maintained long-term relationships with all my clients. They must like the way I do things and the results that I get.

And what about EchoDek?

EchoDek is my company. I made the foolish mistake of naming it after an obscure album by my favourite band, so when you search for it, you get a load of stuff totally unrelated to what I do. You can tell that I don’t do SEO!

EchoDek is dedicated to providing an improvement to our clients’ businesses. We do this by understanding where they want to be and then work backwards to figure out how to get there. No using technology for its own sake, no riding the hype machine.

A plan made because it moves you forward, with enough room to change direction as needed. Outcomes that we are proud to talk about. Businesses that work better after we have been involved. Clients that want us to stick around.

EchoDek invests in its staff. We work remotely not only because it’s cheaper but because we want the right people – no matter where they are. And then I work really hard with each and every one of them, to make sure that they are constantly improving. Mentoring and coaching, weekly education slots and a focus on their well-being, so that they can become the best they can be.

EchoDek believes in changing the world. One step at a time. Acting ethically. Helping people. I believe there’s a serious issue with women in technology so we will be taking active steps to redress the balance. I’ll be honest; I’m not sure how I’m going to do that yet, but it needs to be done.

EchoDek wants to make a difference. There’s no point in just taking your money. I want to see your business flourish. I want to see you delight your customers. I want you to look fantastic. We will stand behind you all the way. Because that’s what I love to do.
